802.1x Rollout
802.1x is a highly secure wireless protocol used by many companies to help meet strict compliance requirements. Globalize was brought in to help a Fremont based advanced lighting manufacturer to upgrade their 802.1x infrastructure. The solution involved Ruckus Wireless Access Points and contoller with a Windows Network Policy, and certificates provided by an Active Directory integrated Certificate Authority. Once configured, only clients with an AD issued certificate are able to connect to the corporate wifi network and this is done seamlessly without the end users ever having to type in a password.
This solution provided the manufacturer with reduced cyber risk and an improved end-user network connectivity experience.
